"Hi, I'm Jahzeel Livingston, and I'm proud to be a part of the Phoenix Restoration team.
A Chicago native, I grew up in Logan Square and attended Golder College Prep for my freshman year. I then moved to La Grange, where I graduated from Lyons Township High School. My educational journey continued at the College of DuPage, where I studied film and television. Additionally, I earned certificates in songwriting and ministry leadership in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
As a first-generation Latina college attendee and high school graduate in my family, I'm passionate about breaking barriers and pursuing my dreams.
I'm currently taking the next step in my educational journey, pursuing a degree in Marketing. I'm excited to bring my unique perspective, skills, and experience to Phoenix Restoration and contribute to the team's success."
1. What was your First Job?
My first job was as a cashier at Boston Market.
2. What are some of your interests or hobbies?
Outside of work, you can find me expressing my creativity through crocheting, photography with my trusty Canon camera, baking, or exploring the outdoors on long walks with my husband and our two adorable puppies, Riley the Morkie and Ever the Schnauzer.
3. Best advice received from boss, friend, or mentor?
If life gets overwhelming, take it 5 seconds at a time. Countdown from 5 and then do one task at a time. This has completely reshaped how I live my life.
4. Invention you wish you thought of?
I would say iced coffee. I can't go a day without it.
5. If you could have a vacation home anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would definitely have a vacation home in Spain.
6. Favorite meal or Restaurant?
I do my best to eat healthy, but Wingstop has my heart. Their mango habanero wings are the best.
